Our Opportunity  

We currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced Customer Service /Warehouse Officer with a passion for customer service to join our friendly Gosford branch. The successful candidate will interact with a multitude of stakeholders on a daily basis; from liaising with truck drivers; to answering phones and solving customer issues. This is an ideal role for an individual who can work autonomously and loves a challenge in a fast paced environment.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will enjoy taking a hands-on approach to all aspects of your role as well as sharing your enthusiasm and passion for superior customer service with a like-minded team. You will thrive on adding value to our business through your expertise, exceptional communication skills and professional outlook.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your ability to manage competing priorities and be proactive in your approach to work will be vital to your success. Core duties include but are not limited to:

  • Undertaking administrative duties such as Order Entry, Goods Receipting and Inventory counts through SAP;
  • Ensuring a high standard of personal presentation and housekeeping of warehouse;
  • Manual handling of products and assisting loading of customer vehicles as required;
  • Relationship building and providing superior customer service to our regular trade customers;
  • Ensuring best practices in the warehouse operations and logistics;
  • Ensuring you adhere to each site's safety, health and environment policies and procedures;
  • Forklift driving, unloading and loading vehicles;

 Skills & Qualifications:

Ideally you will come from a retail trade background, with strong home improvement/building product knowledge. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to efficiently follow up any outstanding stakeholder queries via email or phone.

You must have a flexible attitude; be team orientated and have strong computer skills. In return you will be rewarded by a company that truly values its employees and offers opportunities for progression.

The business operating hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm on a rotating basis. SAP experience and forklift licence would be advantageous.
