NSW Residential Business Development Manager – North Ryde

CSR Hebel is a growing business driven by its ability to identify market trends and configure building systems that meet these needs. Hebel's mission to be the "better way to build", must be demonstrated via identifying and converting major builders and developers to Hebel systems and challenging them to use more Hebel systems over time.

We are currently looking for a strong Business Development Manager to drive our growth in the residential, and low rise multi-res segments specifically limited to stick frame construction.

You will be a self-starter who brings a wealth of connections in your segment and is able to innovate on the fly and bring great customer service!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Actively target and convert major Low-rise Multi-Residential, Retirement and Volume Project Home Builder who best suit the Residential sales strategy. 
  • Leverage your existing industry networks to gain access and influence decision makers
  • Strengthen relationships with resellers and independent installers and assist them in achieving year on year growth
  • Understand the market segment, the channels, the competition and identify target opportunities to seek out key contacts
  • Acquire facts and data, and develop market insights and options for customers to make a compelling case for change on factors other than price
  • Follow through to ensure the customer experience is positive, leads to repeat business and new opportunities which can explored

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • An established track record in business development and sales within the Industry – 5 years minimum experience
  • High technical aptitude and ability to understand the construction process
  • Broad knowledge and experience selling into the residential building and construction industry is highly desirable
  • A strong network of residential building contacts will be highly advantageous
  • Strong expertise to influence, affect change and deliver value
  • High levels of enthusiasm, resilience and the drive to meet and exceed desired outcomes
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all types of internal and external customers e.g. Developers, Builders and Contractors…
  • The ability to anticipate and understand customers' needs and key drivers and marshals resources to achieve sales and organisational goals
  • A tenacious and "hunter" sales approach coupled with a strong solution & relationship focused attitude
