Additionally, our Monier business is a leading manufacturer and supplier of roof tiles across Australia and New Zealand. We have operated for over 100 years and have a proud history and reputation in producing quality tiles and making homes beautiful.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager / Sales professional to join our Sydney team based in Rosehill. The primary focus of this role will be to manage and maintain relationships with an established customer base and to grow market share within existing accounts. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and helping to drive growth of our Ventilation, Insulation, Solar and Roof tile product range across Sydney in the builders channel.

In this role, you will bring your ability to develop lasting and deep customer relationships, your ‘Hunter’ sales style and your strategic thinking. You will focus on;

  • Development and growth within an existing portfolio
  • Providing technical assistance / applying technical product knowledge as part of the sale process within the relevant Australian Standards
  • Establishing new business relationships and partner with key influencers to generate sales
  • Achieve business growth targets
  • Managing your accounts proactively to ensure your customers are aware of how Bradford/Monier products and services support their business objectives – build mutually beneficial partnerships

To be successful in this role you will –

  • Have previous Account Management/ Business development experience with proven results
  • Previous experience in sales in a building supplies industry – commercial or residential
  • Strong motivation to deliver results
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with an ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders to develop promotions and product upgrades
  • Be able to work autonomously whilst being part of a team
  • Be Highly resilient
  • Be passionate about sales and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy a challenge
