The Opportunity:

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager with strong digital marketing experience to join the Endeavour Consumer Health team. The successful applicant will work with the Senior Brand Manager to manage and grow their brand portfolio, contributing to the overall business objectives.

In July 2014 Endeavour Consumer Health was formed from the combination of Symbion Consumer Products in Australia and the consumer division of EBOS Healthcare in New Zealand and Australia. With a strong customer focus and retail brands such as Anti Flamme, Red Seal,  Floradix, Chemmart®, Faulding® and Pharmacy Choice®, the business continues to expand creating diverse opportunities.

The Role:

Working across multiple brand portfolios, you will be required to manage key stakeholder relations to ensure brand plans are developed and delivered effectively.

Your role will be highly focused on brand development and consumer insights to support business growth and further increase brand awareness. Specifically, key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following;

  • Development and execution of Marketing Plans.
  • Coordination of various communication projects such as magazine advertising, POS, social media campaigns, web updates and SEO.
  • Development of content to be utilised across, web, social media and other communication mediums.
  • Market Analysis and preparation of sales presentations and reporting.
  • Work with the Sales team to ensure brand relevance to key retail groups and brand activation programs are in place.
  • Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders on NPD and portfolio management.
  • EBIT management - COG/pricing management and marketing spend management
  • Work with sales, demand planning, and customers to generate accurate volume forecasts.
  • Manage the brand marketing calendar.
  • Measure the impact of activities on both sales and consumer interaction.
  • Assist the Senior Brand Manager across the broader brand portfolio as necessary.

The Successful Candidate:

Critical to your success will be your ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines plus possessing excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, strong project management skills and the ability to work well in a dynamic environment will be imperative. We are looking for a positive can-do attitude and hands on approach. A background from the health and wellness sector will be an advantage.

To be successful with your application you will have:

  • Tertiary marketing/business qualifications with a Pharmaceutical/OTC, FMCG or Retail industry background in marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the retail environment and the health and wellness sector.
  • Experience in the development and execution of ATL and BTL campaigns with particular focus across digital media platforms, ideally with exposure to start-up digital media environments.
  • Experience in the production and execution of engaging social and digital content, along with execution via content management and email marketing systems.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams and with external suppliers. Must have a style that promotes respect, credibility and trust throughout the organisation.
  • Strategic analysis skills to not only present data but also summarise the findings and propose recommendations for future improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numeric skills, proficient with excel, financial & market analysis.
  • Comfortable being hands on with all aspects of the role and able to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
