The Australia Indonesia Centre was established in 2014 as a joint initiative of the Australian and Indonesian governments. Based at Monash University, the centre is a prestigious grouping of Australian and Indonesian research institutions, which brings together influential leaders in government, industry and academia to develop and deliver high impact research in key areas of shared national interest. The centre is currently seeking a motivated Research Coordinator to support the overall research program outcomes.
The Research Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the overall research program outcomes of the Australia Indonesia Centre through the provision of expert comprehensive research administration and oversight in relation to the management of the research-related activities for the centre.
As the Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing expert research administration and oversight in relation to the management of the research-related activities for the centre. You will collect information from a range of research teams then refine and streamline this raw information before providing key reports to third parties.
To be successful in this role you will have excellent demonstrated skills in high level reporting across a wide range of disparate projects. Your ability to be across a wide range of information will be supported by your skills in collating and analysing information. This position also calls for high level interpersonal skills, with the role maintaining local and long distance two-way working relationships with researchers and key stakeholders.
You will ideally have a degree in a relevant field with substantial subsequent relevant experience.
The ability to speak Indonesian would be an advantage in this role.
