The Payroll Production Manager will be a key member of Payroll Services managing the fortnightly payroll schedule and responsible for ensuring the delivery of a range of high quality, accurate, payroll processing and transactional services across the university and managing the resolution of technical issues.
In this role some of your duties will include:
- Building capability of payroll staff
- Managing workflow and workloads
- Fostering an environment of high-quality service delivery
- Managing casual time attendance
You will need advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to identify and resolve complex problems arising within HR information systems and to identify systems enhancements for improved delivery of payroll services.
To be considered for this role you will have substantial experience using an HRIS - ideally SAP - and a strong background in payroll gained in a high volume/large organisation environment. Excellent attention to detail, demonstrated ability to forge collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders as well as foster a customer service culture will stand you in good stead for success in this role.
