The Opportunity

The Administrative Officer position within the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of administrative services and support ranging from human resource, finance, general office support, to maintenance of school resources. The position plays an important role in displaying exemplary customer service skills, effective operational processes and attention to detail across a variety of school operational tasks. This entails delivery of a wide range of core administrative services including administration of expenses, contracts, resources and timesheets.

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to display your excellent administrative & supervisory skills in a busy and challenging work environment. You will have strong general administrative skills, experience dealing with the staff of all levels and have ideally worked in a large multi-layered organisation. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the school’s general office by providing a range of administrative support services to staff and students.

Your excellent attention to detail, computer literacy skills and commitment to providing excellent client service will make you an extremely attractive candidate. If you have the relevant qualification and/or experience in the provision of a variety of administrative services preferably in a higher education environment, you are strongly encouraged to apply.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
