Two postdoctoral opportunities are currently available at Monash University to undertake translational research in Immunity, supported by Janssen Pty Ltd.
The purpose of these positions is to provide a gateway for the candidates to build network and interact with industry leaders and gain insights into drug discovery and development in the pharmaceutical industry.
The successful incumbents will be aiding the development of novel therapies to treat psoriasis.
Successful incumbents will become an integral part of the already well established collaborative partnership between Rossjohn laboratory and Purcell laboratory here at Monash Clayton and Janssen-Cilag Pty Ltd (Janssen) that focuses on developing novel therapeutics for Psoriasis.
The purpose of these positions is to work closely with other world class scientists and industry experts who are focusing mainly in exploring opportunities in early disease interception including fundamental mechanisms related to breakdown of tolerance, to discover and develop novel approaches for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
Appointments will be made at Level A or Level B depending on the successful applicants qualifications and experience.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
