The Opportunity

The successful candidate will join an international collaboration featuring leading scientists, engineers and medical doctors. You will work closely with Professor Mark Banaszak Holl (Monash), Dr Edward Wojtys, Professor James Ashton-Miller, and Professor Kenneth Kozloff (University of Michigan), and Dr Hayden Morris (ParkClinic Orthopaedics – Melbourne). You will be expected to publish high-impact publications, present results at international conferences and assist in the supervision of PhD and honours students.

The successful applicant must hold a PhD in experimental chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, biomedical engineering or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to produce presentations, refereed research papers, progress reports and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The successful candidate will need to be able to travel internationally for conferences and research collaborations and be able to attend routine video group meetings with North American research collaborators.
