The Opportunity

Reporting to the Graduate Research Senior Coordinator, you will take on a wide range of administrative services and provide specialist advice to the Faculty of Information Technology prospective and enrolled graduate research students and academics.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for coordinating the process of candidature applications from enrolment through to the submission of thesis. You will also develop, implement and maintain appropriate records management systems to monitor student candidature. You will also provide assistance during the graduate research scholarship application and ranking process including initial eligibility assessment, writing of H1E cases and ranking of applicants, providing expert advice to the Faculty Graduate Research Coordinators and Associate Dean Graduate Research during the scholarship process.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a degree with subsequent relevant experience. You will have demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems without direction. Great organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment will also assist you to succeed in this role.
