The Opportunity

An opportunity exists within the Buildings and Property Division planning team. The division provides facility management and support services for the teaching, research and business functions of the University.

As the Asset Planning Engineer, Electrical and Fire, you will contribute toward the development and improved performance of University built environments by:

  • Advancing electrical and fire system asset management, precinct development plans and design standards
  • Contributing in campus master planning and development feasibilities
  • Participating in construction project design review and value management activities
  • Advising on the advancement of electrical and fire system servicing contracts

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Extensive experience in electrical or fire building services design
  • Experience in asset management and/or Life Cycle Cost modelling
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
