We are seeking an innovative, energetic and collaborative Learning Skills Adviser to join Monash University Library. As a Learning Skills Adviser you will become a member of the Library’s intercampus Arts Faculty Team, collaborating with academics and other library staff across Clayton and Caulfield campuses to embed information research and learning skills programs within faculty undergraduate and postgraduate coursework as well as higher degree research curricula. Your teaching methods, pedagogical approaches and technical expertise will allow you to develop and deliver programs for online, blended and face-to-face environments.
The role is situated at Sir Louis Matheson Library, Clayton campus. As such, you will also be an integral member of the Research and Learning team at Sir Louis Matheson Library, providing drop-in consultation services for coursework students, and extended consultations for graduate research students and research staff. Your degree in a relevant discipline, sophisticated organisation and time management skills, extensive relevant educational experience in a tertiary environment, and the ability to work effectively in multiple teams will add value to our Library.
