The External Relations, Development and Alumni portfolio (ERDA) works collaboratively across the University to initiate, grow and steward strong person to person relationships with key stakeholders that support Monash University’s research and education endeavours. Philanthropy at Monash is growing at an unprecedented rate. The launch of the Change it. For good. Campaign, with the goals of raising $500 million from 50,000 donors and doubling the number of bequests made to the University, signals a new scale of ambition for Monash to inspire our community to effect positive and lasting change.
We are seeking an experienced candidate to lead the strategic development planning and delivery of the University’s new innovative methods of fundraising and program of appeals including phone, mail, email, challenge events and crowdfunding.
Your role will be pivotal to the Development team’s ambitions to generate philanthropic income that achieves real, measurable impact for the communities served.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and expertise to all campaigns including telephone fundraising, direct mail, email, challenge events, social media and staff giving. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing donor cultivation strategies and activities.
Your demonstrated strategic capability in leading, managing and delivering a broad range of fundraising and alumni functions in line with strategic objectives, will be your key to success in this position.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
