The Research Assistant will provide a variety of high-quality research services to support the operations of the Signalling Network Laboratory. Specifically, the Research Assistant will be integral in supporting the delivery of program outcomes in mechanistic and functional characterization of cancer cell signalling networks and will undertake experimental work including mammalian cell culture, gene overexpression/knockdown, associated biological assays, and biochemical characterisation of signalling.
Operating with a focus on excellence and presenting strong analytical, technical and data analysis skills the Research Assistant will demonstrate a capacity to apply effective technical methods, processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in project administration skills and hold an honours degree in the relevant discipline or have equivalent qualifications and experience
