The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences is at the forefront of preparing students for successful careers in radiography, medical ultrasound, radiation therapy, and more. We are committed to fostering life-long learning and advancing the field through research-driven education.

We are seeking a Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor (Radiographer) to join our dynamic team. You must have a doctoral qualification in Radiography/Medical Imaging or equivalent and hold a current registration or be eligible to hold current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA). In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the delivery of our esteemed Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging (Honours) program, lead educational innovation, and drive research excellence. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of professionals and advancing the discipline of medical radiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct original research leading to high-impact publications
  • Secure research funding and lead research teams
  • Supervise and mentor PhD, honours, and postgraduate students
  • Innovate and coordinate curriculum development in medical imaging
  • Engage with students through diverse teaching methods, including online and blended learning
  • Contribute to and engage with the profession both nationally and internationally
