The Opportunity

Join the team as Lecturer in Physiotherapy and play a key role in shaping the next generation of physiotherapists through the development and delivery of dynamic physiotherapy courses. This position will focus on delivering engaging and comprehensive content for both the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) programs, with an emphasis on public health, personal and professional development and university-based support for clinical placements. You will help broaden students' clinical knowledge and develop competencies in areas such as musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological practice, as well as guide them in addressing more complex clinical scenarios.

The Lecturer will be responsible for a wide variety of teaching responsibilities, including leading tutorials, practical classes, workshops and field excursions. You will also contribute to curriculum development and unit coordination, ensuring that course material aligns with the entry-to-practice competencies required of modern physiotherapy professionals. In addition to teaching, you will supervise postgraduate students, support major research projects and actively engage in physiotherapy research, furthering the field through your scholarly contributions.

Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, along with the ability to work collaboratively across educational and industry sectors, is essential.
