The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.  We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.

The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Administration Team in the Division of Paediatric Medicine as a Ward Clerk on a Casual basis

As the Ward Clerk, you will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative and reception support services to the Ward, maintaining and ensuring accuracy of clerical documentation, contributing to the provision of effective patient care management by maintaining accurate records, booking lists and other details and maintaining systems and processes to assist the streamlining and efficiency of timely processes. Additionally you will manage your workload within the ward and assist in the management of patient admissions and discharges. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will use your detailed knowledge of, and experience in the use of windows and Microsoft Office products; e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

If you have experience in working effectively within a team environment and you can work independently and under limited direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs whilst working with demanding and sometimes competing priorities, then this role is for you.
