About the role
We are seeking an experienced advisor to take on this influential and multifaceted role with accountability for strategic advice, project management, internal communications and reporting and analysis.
Reporting to the College General Manager (GM) and responsive to the College Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC), this is a broad role that is responsive to the needs of the College. Some of your responsibilities will include the provision of strategic advice and operational delivery of projects, the provision of a range of high level analysis, research and policy recommendations, developing briefing papers, high level reports and discussion papers and the management, development and delivery of College internal communications. You will also be responsible for the line-management of the College Executive Office team, organising and supporting ad hoc committees, task forces, working parties and other related activities within the Executive Office.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role you will be degree qualified and/or possess extensive relevant experience. You will have strong demonstrated project management and organisational skills, as well as very strong written communication skills evident in your experience preparing strategic communications, reports, and briefing / discussion papers. Your relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills will be well honed, particularly in terms of liaising, influencing and developing stakeholder buy-in.
To be successful you will have strong critical thinking and analytical skills demonstrated through the development of insightful reports, papers and analyses. You will be highly self-driven, passionate about staff engagement and student outcomes and have proven experience working with ambiguity and a high level of independence.
