Role Summary

As an iOS Developer you are responsible for the design, development, testing and documentation of native iOS applications.

We are building a best-in-class wagering experience using the latest technologies where we have to support massive transaction throughput on a custom built platform that must be robust, secure and highly scalable.

You'll get to work in a highly collaborative team where your input and ideas will be highly valued, in an ever-evolving environment that combines an interesting sports domain with the complexities of a financial market using some of the latest digital technologies.

How you will contribute

As part of our Digital Technology team you will -

•  Develop and test native iOS applications

•  Ensure solutions are testable and write automated unit and UI tests that support delivery

•  Design innovative technical solutions and estimate the work required

•  Use a continuous delivery mindset to ensure a frictionless path to production

•  Keep abreast of bleeding edge technologies and champion their use where appropriate

•  Participate in regular performance and evaluation reviews.

•  Participate in design review sessions and provide and receive feedback in peer code reviews

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have around 3 years' development experience with at least 1 year's experience developing native iOS applications.  This includes an excellent understanding of Objective-C with sound knowledge of software design patterns and best practices in software development.

Ideally you will also have experience with multi-threaded application development on iOS with experience consuming RESTful APIs.

With experience working in an agile environment, preferably within a large company, you will have a pragmatic approach, plus have good interpersonal skills, be passionate about technology and outcome focused.
