Role Summary

This is an exciting time for Tabcorp's Keno and Gaming team. We are moving into a period of transformation and exciting new change as the business continues to grow and succeed. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and engaging work environment whilst being accountable for leading and providing direction to the Workshop team, ensuring delivery of the highest quality bench repairs of Tabcorp's Gaming, Wagering and Keno terminal and ancillary equipment. 

 How you will contribute 

Key focus areas of this role will be the following:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of workshop technicians
  • Ordering of and management of inventory items
  • Accountable for the team's performance and promote a positive and engaged environment 
  • Ensure that all repairs and output is of high quality and meets customer expectations
  • Schedule and organise labour and resources to achieve planned operational targets
  • Provide practical assistance, on the job training and technical advice as required
  • Proactive process improvements and introducing efficiencies in the workshop

Our Ideal Person

Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Business or related discipline. Demonstrated experience in people management and change leadership. Previous experience in repairing electromechanical equipment and PCB circuit boards, advantageous. Knowledge of/experience in bench repair workshop practices along with working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems.  Ideally, the successful candidate with have strong people management capability, excellent organisational skills coupled with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
