Role Summary

We are keen to find a Senior Advisor to join our Legal & Regulatory team.  This new in-house role based in our George Street office will provide non-legal specialist employee relations and industrial relations advice across our business. 

How you will contribute

In this role you will –

  • Provide high quality and timely specialist advice on ER, IR and HR issues, in collaboration with the Senior Legal Counsel, including reviewing new and proposed legislation
  • Assist in drafting, managing and maintaining employment-related precedent documents
  • Provide advice and support to the People, Culture & Communication (PC&C) team, in terms of updating templates and documentation
  • Assist PC&C in negotiations with staff and unions on a range of issues, including enterprise bargaining
  • Obtain, validate and prepare evidence and other documentation on a range of ER matters

Our Ideal Person

We are looking for someone with tertiary qualifications in HR or ER, who has extensive experience in the delivery of day to day ER/HR advice, coupled with excellent experience in the development and interpretation of ER/HR policy and procedures and a strong knowledge of current workplace relations legislation.

With outstanding communication, coaching and mentoring skills you will also have strong drafting skills, plus a high level of professional judgement and the ability to make decisions and drive outcomes.
