Senior Developer you will work within the Wagering Technology team to create,
enhance and maintain wagering systems (and associated documentation) in order
to deliver agreed business functional and non-functional requirements.
will mentor junior developers and provide advice and
technical guidance to developers within the larger team.
Our Ideal Person
Developer is expected to possess the following skills and competencies:
- 5 years+ experience
developing software applications, with object oriented coding experience
with C# (.NET), Microsoft MVC, Web Services, MS SQL, IIS and GIT
- Demonstrable experience in
the design of secure, high performing available applications
- Experience in complex
computer systems specification and development, such as real time transaction
Experience with Agile
- Planning skills (to
identify and evaluate technical and business needs and opportunities).
- Ability to follow set plans
and work to a schedule.
Good communication skills
both written and verbal.
Sound general judgement and
action orientation, good problem solving skills in a complex IT environment
Good general understanding
of the IT industry, technology and key IT processes including software
development lifecycle, problem, change and configuration management practices
Demonstrated ability to
build trust and be a strong team player
- Ability to build effective
professional relationships with business team leaders, and team members.
