Role Snapshot

Your potential future role will play an integral part in the Race Scheduling team through the daily sculpting and optimisation of Sky programming and race scheduling to maximize wagering turnover.  With the Manager Scheduling as your leader, together you will nurture key relationships internally with our production, broadcast delivery and sales teams. Most importantly you will collaborate externally with our racing industry partners, particularly the racing teams from controlling bodies in all states - and Foxtel to ensure accurate customer information delivery on their media platforms.

How you will contribute

·  Manage the coordination and preparation of the final racing and wagering information for all Sky content across television, radio and international racing services.

·  Establish and manage the timing of programs and live racing to prevent clashes or congestion on air.

·  Prepare 'non-live racing' programming searching for attractive and suitable content.

·  Monitor domestic and international racing calendars complemented by up to date racing knowledge.

Our Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be great at managing relationships. Effective communication is essential for collecting and processing information to sculpt the racing schedules accurately.  Attention to detail is crucial, in conjunction with demonstrable organizational, negotiation and numerical skills in order to produce a quality customer outcome.  A detailed understanding of domestic and international racing and wagering practices across thoroughbreds, harness and greyhounds is an essential characteristic for success in the role.  If you share our passion for the racing industry and can see yourself working in the Scheduling team, we encourage you to apply.

When you join our team you'll be able to take advantage of a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, leadership and development programs and community programs.
