Position Purpose:

The primary role of the Football Product Manager is, in conjunction with our UK and Australian Trading team, to enhance, oversee and manage the Sunbets Football Product which we continue to grow and expand. The role will be tasked to build out pricing consistency and pricing accuracy, whilst delivery a competitive football product. The successful candidate will be expected to manage market performance and work closely with 3rd party providers to ensure we offer maximum coverage across all leagues and a fantastic user-experience for our product. Markets and liabilities will need to be closely monitored to ensure that the business is not overexposed and hedging may be required where appropriate. Clients should be continually monitored and account management undertaken in conjunction with our Client Profiling team.

Additionally, the Football Product Manger would be expected to work closely with the Wagering Fixed Odds team to ensure 24x7 operations. The role will require non-standard working hours and be expected to price and trade when required.

The role will work closely with our trading solutions team, to continually improve the pricing function of football, both in accuracy and innovation of markets. The role will work extremely closely with Marketing to establish attractive retention/acquisition campaigns.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Take full responsibility of the Sun Bets football product and development
• Take action where appropriate to ensure maximum profitability and customer experience.
• Use data to strategically drive changing priorities within the football product
• Contribute to the creation of new and innovative betting products and markets.
• Contribute to the creation and delivery of customer offers and initiatives.
• Drive superior user experience by working effectively with all customer-facing teams
• Working closely with Trading Solutions in order to improve pricing methodology and innovation of the football product to tailor the UK market.
• Working closely with the Marketing team on a daily and Weekly basis to drive retention and acquisition through our football channels.
• Lead and initiate performance standards, image and core values of the business
• Preparation and analysis of reports on performance at an event, product, client and team level for all Tabcorp brands
• Work seamlessly with Senior Traders and Senior Manager to ensure day to day execution of team strategies to maximise revenue
• Assist in managing risk exposures within defined risk parameters for all betting
• Assist in the management of risk exposures within defined risk parameters for all betting markets
• Ensure all betting markets are correctly displayed and comply with relevant rules to prevent compliance breaches and/or customer disputes

Using SMART Key Performance Indicators linked to the Performance Incentive Plan and other Business Unit activities, the aspects to be measured include:

Wage Expectations:

£35,000-£45,000 per annum depending on experience. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in bookmaking of at least 7 years.
• Experience as a football trader of at least 3 years
