Role Snapshot

The Administration Assistant is a key member of the Game Management team – Lottery & Keno. You will be responsible for the Bloc Secretariat Administrator duties under the national Lottery Bloc agreements and for administrative support in the management of all other games in the portfolio.

How you will contribute

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Organisation of meetings of the Executive Committee,  co-ordination of agendas and papers, liaison with and between Members, attending meetings of the Executive Committee and the taking and distribution of minutes
  • Maintaining official meeting records including agreements, quarterly meeting papers, minutes, game models, Bloc registers, procedures, budgets, etc.
  • Ensuring all action items from official meetings and contractual responsibilities are completed and recorded as required.
  • Provide administrative support as required by GM – Finance and Commercial including travel arrangements for all team members

Our Ideal Person

To be successful in this role you will be exceptionally organized and detailed orientated with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively.  You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work across the organisation building partnerships to foster a collaborative work environment.

  • 5+ years experience in administrative roles
  • Knowledge of systems to collate and distribute meeting papers (such as electronic board papers)
  • Proven ability to document and minute formal meetings
  • Strong organisational and record keeping skills
