Role Snapshot/Role Summary

In the role of Practice Lead Technical Business Analysis, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert, Technical Business Analysis Specialist for teams across all projects within Gaming Services.  You will interface between the development teams and the business units, taking into consideration stakeholders, end users, UX/UI, developers and testers to propose feasible solutions and drive consistency across the Technology business. You will mentor technical Business Analysts and own process governance for business analysis.

The role will focus on

  • Provide expert advice and consultancy on best practice business analysis, software development, project and delivery teams around solutions to meet business requirements
  • Gain a complete understanding of the business needs and strategies. Effectively and concisely document requirements to the level of technical detail required by developers and testers
  • Coach and mentor Technical Business Analyst resources across the department
  • Ensure the Technical Business Analysts are doing the right work, at the right time, in the right way
  • Build strong business relationships based on trust and delivery. Maintain and foster relationships with all Gaming Services
  • Provide outstanding customer service and experiences, own and take action on issues effectively and efficiently. Strive to exceed customer expectations
  • Promote and enable an environment of positivity, self-empowerment/improvement and development

Our Ideal Person

To be successful in this role you will have Accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, 7+ years’ work experience within a large commercial environment, evaluating and documenting business and software requirements to a high level of technical detail. Expert knowledge of all aspects of system implementation, covering both in-house development and customised package solutions.  In addition, you will have demonstratable experience in agile ways of working and the ability to drive adoption within a team.
