Role Summary

The Business Analyst role will understand business processes and practices and develop solid business requirements to enable the delivery of high quality and cost-effective solutions that meet and exceed support and operational requirements.

How you will contribute

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business requirements/opportunities
  • Facilitate business/technology stakeholder workshops and other means to gather requirements
  • Translate requirements into user stories
  • Take ownership of the product backlog
  • Work collaboratively within the delivery team to implement the target solution

Our Ideal Person

  • Accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • 5+ years’ work experience within a large commercial environment with demonstrable experience evaluating and documenting business and software requirements to a high level of technical detail  
  • Demonstrated experience of business process improvement
  • Expert knowledge of all aspects of system implementation, both in-house and customised package solutions
  • Extensive understanding of the IT&T industry, as well as technology trends and related practices
  • Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working and the ability to drive adoption within a team
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation and associated regulations
