Role Snapshot/Role Summary

Your role will be responsible for driving high standards for quality, ensuring testing and engineering best practices are followed. You will plan, coordinate and execute testing for solutions to ensure they meet and exceed support and operational requirements.

As part of a cross functional digital team, you will collaborate with your leads to implement Quality Assurance continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders and the development team to ensure sufficient test coverage and drive efficient and effective testing solutions.

The role will focus on

  • Ensuring repeatable and ongoing success through the use of agreed methodologies and engineering best practice
  • Implementing, configuring and maintaining test environments as required.
  • Being aware of automating testing design patterns.
  • Developing and executing test and API’s and GUI’s.
  • Supporting an environment where agility and continuous improvement is built into work practices
  • Supporting your team to deliver effectively on their commitments. Balance the need for timely delivery with quality solutions and ensure informed decision making at all times
  • Building strong business relationships based on trust and delivery. Maintain and foster relationships with all stakeholders, including those throughout the business unit, across the organisation and external suppliers and customers
  • Providing outstanding customer service and experiences, own and act on issues effectively and efficiently. Strive to exceed customer expectations
  • Promoting and enabling an environment of positivity, self-empowerment/improvement and development

Our Ideal Person

To be successful in this role you will have Accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, 2+ years’ work experience within a large commercial environment in a QA role. Proven experience of building and maintaining relationships across business and technology teams, previously demonstrated experience in agile ways of working.
