Role Summary

Accountable to the Payroll Manager for providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll services to Tabcorp employees.

How you will contribute

  • Ensure the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities, including salary disbursement, overpayment recovery, leave management and reporting are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare complex payroll and human resource information for data input and assist with checking, quality control and maintenance of records to ensure accuracy, service quality and data integrity.
  • Assist the organisation to meet its taxation, superannuation and other legislative and statutory obligations through processing and preparation of returns, related reports, forms and other documentation as requested.
  • Provide a responsive service on payroll matters, resolve difficult enquiries and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee payments are processed accurately and database integrity is maintained.

Our Ideal Person

We are looking for an experienced individual using an ERO and who has worked in a large corporate (i.e. more than 3000 employees) in both a salaried an award environment. With your relevant industry experience, you will have a strong understanding of relevant laws and legislation and financial statutory requirements.

The role requires strong numeracy skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Your proven ability to communication will enable you to work across a diverse stakeholder group.
