How you will contribute

Your role will be responsible for the maintenance, improvement, cleaning, and manipulation of data in the enterprise databases. You will work with other Technology and Business units in order to understand and aid in the implementation of database requirements, analyse performance, and troubleshoot any existent issues. Key responsibilities include:

  • Selecting and integrating data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities
  • Implementing ELT process, monitor performance and advise necessary infrastructure changes
  • Define data retention policies
  • Compile, maintain and review artefacts generated out of the SDLC
  • Provide system support by investigating, liaising and advising on problems reported by business support teams, system test and third-party providers
  • Estimate total effort required to delivery release cycles and support application release planning
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to other team members to around software development practices.
  • Adhere to software development best practice and ensure repeatable ongoing success within an agile and continuous improvement culture


Our Ideal Person

You will have relevant tertiary qualifications with at least five years’ experience working with relevant technologies including all aspects of product lifecycle and process development, delivery and support. In addition, you’ll bring demonstrated experience of continuous improvement working in an agile environment. You’ll be confident in building and maintaining strong business relationships and be a natural collaborator. Although not essential, solid understanding of relevant legislation and associated regulations and knowledge of the gambling and entertainment industries will be highly regarded.
