Role Summary

* Strategic role within the P&C Technology team

* Opportunity to shape and influence high impact people initiatives that drive business outcomes

* Work collaboratively with brilliant Technologists and leaders in their field

A great opportunity for someone who has a passion for what they do and will deliver first class people services and solutions to our Technology team.

You will be working on some really exciting initiatives including:

* Driving the Technology people strategy in partnership with the relevant General Managers and Senior Leadership teams

* Coaching and empowering leaders, assisting them to develop their own leadership capability and that of their Senior Leaders

* Contributing to a thriving Women in Technology community, driving participation at industry events and assisting in the development and ongoing WIT internal network

Our Ideal Person

We are looking for a strong HR generalist with experience working in a large fast paced company, with a varied and multidisciplinary workforce. With a proven track record of delivering successful HR solutions and services, you will have knowledge of contemporary human resources, including organisational development, culture change, industrial relations, recruitment and selection, performance management and workplace health and safety.

You will have an interest in Technology, take a ‘one step ahead’ approach to partner with our Technology leaders, challenge and collaborate. You will bring to life the P&C and Technology strategies so experience working with IT or digital teams would be advantageous.

Key to your success in this role will be your excellent relationship building skills, influencing and negotiation ability, flexibility, ability to work autonomously and as part of the team, coupled with your passion for what you do and willingness to make a difference.
