Role Summary 

Reporting to the Wagering Risk Manager, this person will be responsible for executing responsible gambling business controls across wagering. This includes controls around marketing and promotions, self-exclusion and customer monitoring/potential problem gamblers. This role works closely with other business units to ensure Tabcorps’ responsible gambling strategy and plan is executed across the wagering business.

How you will contribute 

  • Create and ensure new wagering products, marketing briefs, advertising, social media, promotions, and other content are RG compliant following Tabcorp’s risk-based review approach (Marketing / Content Teams / product teams)
  • Monitor and provide reporting to management on front-line processing of Self-Exclusions
  • One-on-one customer interventions and communication to ensure Tabcorp delivers on customer care commitments
  • Ensure compliance with Codes of Conduct and RG obligations are met at all times
  • Assist in the training of staff on operational procedures relating to responsible gambling
  • Use varied analytics tools for customer monitoring / identifying potential problem gamblers
  • First escalation point for customer / regulator complaints
  • Reporting on RG operating performance (incidents, issues, etc) to management
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliant processes

 Our Ideal Person 

To be successful in this role, experience with racing / wagering is preferred. A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or Compliance / Legal studies is desirable. A good understanding of RG frameworks, regulation and the complexity across Australian jurisdictions is also desirable. You will have strong well-developed conflict resolution skills and demonstrate empathy when dealing with customer experiencing problems with gambling.

An analytical, methodical approach to your work and excellent time management is required. In addition to this, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications will also be required. The role will be based in either our Sydney or Brisbane office.
