Our Tech Team

Our Wagering & Media Technology team are key strategic partners within the Wagering & Media business unit and are tasked with the job of delivering technology services and strategy for the unit whilst positioning them as an industry leader.

How you will contribute

This role is responsible for providing Level 2 support to the Core Wagering applications ensuring high levels of reliability and availability, in addition to providing additional services and supporting other projects as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure continued operation of all Wagering applications through the provision of Level 2 support and manage resolutions of priority 1,2, 3 and 4 incidents
  • Ensure proactive communication with the Major Incident Management team in regards to incident progress, escalating any application/system issues to Team/Operations Leads
  • Keep up to date with releases and enhancement requirements with a proactive approach in regards to the management of these with successful implementation of software releases
  • Participate in user and technical forums and participate in Daily Operations and Service Delivery meetings
  • Follow required processes for all systems changes according to ITIL standards
  • Ensure user documentation is accurate and up to date and training is actioned following timings agreed on project plan

Our ideal person

You’ll have accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills, ideally gained within an agile, continuous improvement environment. You’ll be a natural collaborator with a high level of self-awareness and confidence in your own abilities. Given the industry in which we operate, an understanding of the relevant legislation and associated regulations within the betting and/or gaming industries will be highly regarded.
