Role Snapshot/Role Summary

You will be providing onsite remedial, preventative and project services on a wide range of electro-mechanical devices, with a strong focus on building and maintaining positive customer relationships and excellent service delivery. The role requires strong self-management skills to ensure that you achieve client SLA targets whilst maintaining utilisation standards, and at times you may be required to lead the team.

How you will contribute

  • Provide strong electro-mechanical fault finding and repair skills, handling complex and critical equipment.
  • Apply knowledge of equipment service to diagnose faults efficiently for equipment to be returned to service.
  • Accurately and timely manage assets, in particular spare parts.
  • Efficiently prioritize and manage call queues to achieve the best outcomes for both the client and the business, as well as meeting contracted SLA targets.
  • Lead and supervise teams in completing Project work at client sites.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to other team members and subcontractors
  • Work efficiently and effectively with team members within MAXtech, the wider MAX team.
  • Accurately record data in our call management system within required timeframes.
  • Ensure that Safe work practices are at the heart of everything we do.

Our Ideal Person

The successful candidate for this role will have the following experience and pursue these qualities:

  • Trade level qualifications in electronics industry is an advantage
  • Advanced/high level electronics certificate or equivalent industry experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics, with strong industry and equipment knowledge.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Current Drivers License.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work or previous experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • An eye for detail and an ability to diagnose and problem solve complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively without supervision.
  • Motivation to have a positive impact working in a diverse workplace.
  • Integrity, respect and honesty.
  • Safety and security awareness.
