Role Snapshot/Role Summary

The Project Lead – Lotteries and Keno is a key member of the Commercial Development team. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, Business Projects, this role is responsible for leading key projects and providing project management and administrative support for the Lotteries and Keno business projects.

How you will contribute

  • Manage key initiatives included in the strategic plan from their conception, through to business case development and ultimate delivery
  • Reporting project progress utilising approved systems and formats
  • Utilising the approved project methodology and tools and techniques to ensure consistency across L&K Business and Technology projects
  • Managing business stakeholders and resources throughout all stages of a project’s life-cycle
  • Managing project risks, issues, dependencies, scope and budgets to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and cost
  • Facilitating project meetings and workshops to identify first-class solutions to business problems and managing implementation
  • Analysing critical financial information to facilitate the L&K management teams’ ability to make informed business decisions on current and future project initiatives
  • Partner with Technology Project Managers to deliver cross-functional initiatives.

Our Ideal Person

To be successful in this role, you will have 3+ years experience managing strategic business projects.  Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline. Strong level of personal organisation. Excellent oral/written communication skills. Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively, to direct staff and be able to partner with technology to deliver initiatives.
