Role Summary

As part of the Contact Centre Team, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance for our betting customers. We provide betting facilities for thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing as well as a variety of sports including AFL, NRL, Rugby Union, Soccer, Cricket, Basketball and many others.

  • Sell bets on all race and sport meetings
  • Accurate keyboard input of customer requested investments
  • Answer customer account queries in a timely manner
  • Provide associated Race day information
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all customer transactions
  • Display efficiency and courtesy in operation and manner

The Albion Contact Centre is operational Tuesday to Saturday

Our Ideal Person

To be successful for this role you will demonstrate a high-level of confidence and professionalism with all customers, as well as intermediate PC skills. Knowledge of wagering products/services would be highly regarded.

  • At least 18 years old
  • An enthusiastic and positive team player
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Available all Saturdays during Spring Carnival (October to early November)
  • Available to work Melbourne Cup (essential)
  • Available to attend an interview on Friday 19th July 2019
  • Available for compulsory training Saturday 17th August to Saturday 24th August 2019

This is a casual 3 month-fixed term position initially
