In the role of Data Analyst- Distribution you work as an integral part of the Distribution team.  This team is responsible for the initial and secondary distribution of over 20 million Yellow Pages and White Pages directories nationally every year.  This team is also responsible for the development of our DirectorySelect website and database which is supporting greater choice for consumers to order additional directories or cancel their directory distribution service.

In this role you will:

-  Take ownership of the distribution data and data processes ensuring the highest level of data integrity

-  Provide strategic and tactical support to the Distribution team

-  Analyse and interpret data in order to make recommendations on strategic and operational development

-  Play a key role in strengthening the existing system and provide input into the development of new systems 

-  Utilise your exceptional skills in data extraction, data cleansing and reporting.

Key result areas include data integrity, accurate and timely updating of data, timely provisioning of data to required end users, uniformity and consistency in reporting, system and user readiness, and data & performance analysis.

To be successful you will have:

-  Excellent analytical skills with a very strong attention to detail

-  Strong problem solving skills

-  Solid experience with Business Objects, Oracle and SQL

-  Intermediate/Advanced level MS Access and Excel experience

-  Excellent numerical skills and the ability to translate statistical information into real world meaning

-  Excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude

-  Experience in dealing with large scale data management processes

-  Proven ability to build relationships with customers, external organisations and internal stakeholders
