We are looking to engage a Procurement Specialist to support in the analysis of spend data, supplier base and cost models to provide Pacific National with a competitive advantage in the market, specifically focused on indirect categories. Join a cohesive, collaborative and progressive team who have already delivered significant benefit to the business and continue to play a key role in delivering Pacific National’s strategy.
You will partner with stakeholders across the business to help establish procurement strategies to improve process and optimise value.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager Indirects you will:
Act as an advisor whilst deriving value and supporting business partners to achieve their business objectives.
Support in the creation of robust, collaborative sourcing and negotiation strategies to optimise total value of spend, supported by market and industry analysis and in alignment with business priorities.
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships across specific indirect categories.
Develop and prepare reporting as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Prior exposure to category management of travel and other indirect categories.
Demonstrated capacity to effectively prioritise, problem solve and create value.
A business partnering approach with an ability to successfully influence and communicate key information effectively across a diverse stakeholder group.
Proven procurement experience within a large complex organisation, ideally within a heavy industry setting.
