Reporting in to the IT Program Manager, the IT Business Analyst position has key accountability for the evaluation, mapping and documentation of business requirements, processes and data flows relating to allocated IT projects, with the primary driver being optimisation outcomes.
The next 12 months will have you involved in a broad range of systems-related projects, all of which are crucial to the overall success of the Pacific National business.
You’ll be expected to engage with a broad range of stakeholders across the wider business, working with project teams in a hands-on manner and playing a key role in driving project delivery through all phases of the project lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity to extend your skillset through exposure to a variety of challenging and critical projects, directly impacting the internal capability of our organisation.
Note that there is potential for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.
In order to be successful in this role, ideal applicants will possess strong analytical ability, coupled with an innovative and creative thinking style. High-level communication ability is essential, with verbal, written and interpersonal skills integral to success in this role. You will need to demonstrate proven relationship management strengths, with clear evidence of your ability to build successful business relationships.
Ideal applicants will have a strong integration background, with exposure to Peoplesoft or similar ERP system preferred.
In addition, you’ll be expected to demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Background within a large and complex organisation preferred
- Experience with complex IT projects essential
- Background in logistics, transport or heavy industry will be highly regarded
