(HEO6) $92,511 - $99,929 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Two full-time, fixed term positions available for 12 months 

Two Quality and Compliance roles are available. Working under general direction, one role reports to the Manager, Quality and Compliance and the other reports to the Process Improvement Manager. Both roles will support the delivery of key wage compliance projects, ensuring that the University’s HR practices align with legislative and regulatory requirements. This role is central to promoting, maintaining, and continuously improving the University's compliance framework.

The positions will collaborate with HR teams and stakeholders across the University to develop, implement and deliver on HR Project initiatives. The role is responsible for ensuring robust procedures are in place and that compliance risks are proactively identified and managed. Guided by policy and legislation, the Quality and Compliance Officers partner with local areas to achieve operational compliance.

To be successful you will need:

  1. Demonstrated ability to work and effectively communicate with people at all levels in a large organisation.
  2. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively to pre-determined timelines, work independently, and competently problem-solve in the application of HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
  3. Highly developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to client service and continuous improvement
  4. Ability to influence change and drive process improvements to ensure compliance with relevant HR policy, guidelines, procedures and practices.
  5. Ability to understand and apply relevant legislation and professional advice, and update relevant guidelines, processes and frameworks to reflect changes.
