The role

Due to the recent internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for individuals to undertake a recognised boilermaker apprenticeship through the Transdev Sydney Ferries business located in the Balmain Shipyard. You will be fully equipped to:

  • Assisting and learning from our qualified Tradespersons and Engineering Supervisors to continuously maintain and repair our fleet vessels
  • Assisting in other operational duties as requested.

What you bring         

Our apprentices all have a high mechanical aptitude, strong commitment and a keen interest in learning the trade.

To be successful in this role, ideally you had studied relevant trade subjects (i.e. metal, engineering, construction, fabrication, etc.) earlier during school and have some hands-on experiences.
