You will be part of the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Technology & Industry Development Group’s Autonomous Vehicle Programme Office which coordinates the national effort to implement Singapore’s AV deployment roadmap. 
You will oversee a team to plan and manage AV technology trials and pilot deployments in collaboration with government agencies, industry players, academia and research organisations. Develop plans for the future deployment of AVs at scale. Work closely with other government agencies to ensure that the necessary enablers for AV deployment such as infrastructure, standards and regulations, public acceptability as well as a robust supporting industry eco-system are in place.  Regularly engage other regulators, industry players, academia and research organisations to keep abreast of the latest AV trends.

Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in relevant fields such as engineering, urban and transportation planning, and public policy.  Other qualifications may be considered together with related working experience in policy planning and/or technology project development and management.
• Candidates should have at least 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience, and at least 3 years of prior experience in leading diverse teams comprising technical and non-technical personnel.
• Candidates should possess the ability to organise and manage an effective team to handle multiple priorities amidst demanding workstreams and timelines.
• Candidates should also have prior experience in managing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders, and in working with top-level management on strategy & policy development.
• Ability to quickly master and take the lead on complex technical as well as public policy issues.
• Ability to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions, amidst a fast-paced and fluid environment.
• Strong command of English as well as good critical thinking, writing and presentation skills.
