About Human Resources Division - Talent Attraction 

The Talent Attraction team is instrumental in driving branding, selection and sourcing strategies that position and promote EDB as an employer of choice, and developing organisational competence in assessment and selection frameworks. It plays an integral role in building and securing a strong pipeline of capable talent which is critical to EDB’s continued success.


As a Project Officer with the Talent Attraction team, you will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment and on-boarding process, with the key responsibilities as listed, but not limited to:

  • Work directly with line managers to determine requirements for support/ temporary staff hiring and liaise with appointed recruitment agencies when required, to fill requisites in a timely fashion
  • Participate in selection interviews, prepare and  seek management approval on compensation and benefits proposal(s) for successful candidates
  • Provide timely support to the recruitment team in advertising job opportunities on various online portals/platforms, scheduling & coordinating interview arrangements with the relevant stakeholders and processing on-boarding requests for new hires
  • Plan the Orientation training calendar; working with the respective content owners and conduct  New Hire Orientation sessions
  • Prepare and seek appropriate approvals for the procurement of goods and services for events
  • Logistical support for recruitment-related events
  • Ensure all job descriptions and assessment tools are up to date and maintaining the candidate database


The successful candidate should have/be:

  • Diploma qualification in Human Resource, Marketing or related disciplines
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a related field/ role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, meticulous and thorough in follow-through
  • Resourceful and able to think creatively and possess good initiative in proposing new ideas/solutions
  • Understanding of recruitment best practices, benefits schemes and/or HR information systems like SAP would be an advantage
  • Results oriented with the ability to stay focused, efficient and effective in managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent presentation, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Singaporean
