You will be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of Singapore's economic development. The EDB Customer Experience & Marketing team undertakes the development and implementation of EDB’s global marketing and communication strategies to reach and engage our international business audiences and stakeholders in EDB’s key markets. The Brand team is responsible for the translation of EDB’s business and marketing objectives into branding strategies and work plans.


The role of Project Officer, Brand assists with the execution of EDB’s branding efforts, centred around the translation of a unified national brand, “Brand SG -  Passion Made Possible”, to EDB’s business audience. Brand SG was launched in August 2017 and is now jointly developed by EDB, the Singapore Tourism Board and the Ministry of Communications and Information.


The key responsibilities for this role include two key work streams within the Brand team – Brand Tracking and Brand Assets.

Brand Tracking

  • Developing a brand tracking framework to measure the effectiveness of EDB’s branding efforts in overseas markets
  • Appointing and working with a research agency and/or branding agency to conduct international perception studies pre- and post-campaign


Brand Assets

  • Developing a suite of Brand SG assets and toolkits including visual assets, multimedia assets, message house, design templates, merchandise, etc. to boost branded content and drive brand proliferation
  • Appointing and working with various agencies/publishers/creators to produce these assets and toolkits


Other responsibilities for this role include supporting the Brand team on brand campaigns and fostering brand guardianship of Brand SG.


The successful candidate should have/be:

  • A degree in relevant disciplines including, but not limited to Mass Communications/Marketing/New Media/Humanities
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a marketing agency role or a corporate/government-side marketing communications/corporate communications
  • Execution excellence with a focused eye on managing timelines
  • Integrated thinking across channels and stakeholders
  • A keen ability in fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders for success
  • Singaporean
