As one of the world's leading energy and chemical industry hubs, Singapore's contribution to the industry is vast, both in terms of output and research, and the Republic is constantly working to stay at the forefront of the industry's advancement.

The Energy & Chemicals Division is looking to hire candidates to develop compelling propositions that will help Singapore remain a world-class hub for the energy and chemicals industry, ranging from oil and gas to petrochemicals and specialties.

As a Lead/Senior Lead, you will be responsible for developing and growing the energy and chemicals industry in Singapore.

Your primary role will be in account management, where you will need to:

  • Engage with a portfolio of companies to attract investments into Singapore to site regional and global business activities
  • Partner and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders from the public and private sector to facilitate project implementation, in order to build capabilities and anchor desirable activities such as R&D and manufacturing to be undertaken in the sector

To succeed in the role, you will also need to:

  • Have a keen interest and appreciation of industry and technology trends and determine their implications to Singapore’s Energy and Chemicals industry, in order to formulate appropriate industry wide development strategies

The work is diverse and challenging, and requires individuals who are resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

  • Degree, preferably but not limited to Business, Economics, Chemistry, Engineering or Materials Science
  • 2-3 years working experience in a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong conceptual & analytical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in a third language is preferred to liaise with international clients
  • Singaporeans only
