The Information Technology Shared Services department provides IT support to A*STAR and its Research Institutes through innovative and integrated exploitation of Information Technology.
As an IT Procurement & Budgeting Officer, you will be required to develop operating models for data analytics, and review past data to ensure compliance with procurement guidelines. You will also be involved in the budgeting process, and in identifying IT procurement trends for demand aggregation and procurement issues for rectification.
- Degree in Computer Science or IT with 3 to 5 years of relevant data science or data analytics experience
- Knowledge of basic or advanced analytical approaches, statistical tools, solutions and procurement practices
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Independent, resourceful and able to work in a team
- Familiarity with Excel+ spreadsheets, SPSS, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or QlickView analytics tools would be an advantage
