The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) provides services for the rehabilitation of adult and juvenile offenders and the protection of children and families. We are passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of these children, youths and families and are looking for like-minded individuals who share the same passion as us to join our dynamic and life-changing team.

The Centre for Trauma Recovery, a team within the Clinical and Forensic Psychology Service, provides specialized psychological services in the areas of intra-familial trauma and abuse to children, youth and families. If you have a dedication and passion to impact lives, have an interest in working with children, youth and families with complex emotional and behavioural needs arising from child abuse/trauma, come join our team of dynamic and fun-loving professionals. You will be providing psychological assessments and evidenced-based therapy services for our clients, and working closely with the community to sustain treatment gains.  Psychologists will have opportunities to be deployed either in an external agency-based treatment setting or within a residential setting working with children/youth. Continual clinical training, staff support and supervision will be provided. There will also be opportunities for research in areas of child abuse and offending behaviour.

Masters degree in Clinical Psychology or more than 3 years’ experience in Applied Psychology. Experience in clinical settings will be an advantage. The candidate should possess effective interpersonal skills, good report writing skills and be able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
