Manager/Assistant Manager – (Resilience Compliance and Planning) (Connectivity and Competition Development)

The successful candidate will be part of a team that formulates policies to ensure that Singapore’s info-communication and media infrastructure is resilient and provides a strong foundation to support national strategic initiatives such as Digital Economy and Smart Nation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review and develop policies and regulatory frameworks to enhance the resilience of telecommunication and broadcasting networks and services in Singapore
  • Undertake studies and reviews to ensure relevance of policies and regulatory frameworks with latest technologies and trends
  • Perform regular audits to ensure industry’s compliance with regulatory frameworks
  • Monitor compliance and conduct investigations and initiate enforcement actions on contraventions

Requirements

  • A good Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Preferably with at least 1-2 years’ experience in telecommunications or broadcasting industry or public policy making. Candidates with relevant years of experience may be considered for more senior position. Candidates with no experience may apply.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication or broadcasting networks and technology will be an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

 

Position will commensurate with experience.
