About CSA

Established on 1 April 2015, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) is the national body overseeing cyber security strategy, operation, education and outreach, technology and industry development for our nation's critical information infrastructures. CSA provides dedicated and centralised oversight of Singapore's national cyber security functions, and focuses on engagement and partnership to ensure the holistic development of Singapore's cyber security landscape. It is managed by the Ministry of Communications and Information and reports to the Prime Minister's Office.

As a new body, CSA offers exciting opportunities for individuals to be part of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary and committed team shaping Singapore's cyber landscape.

 

Job Scope

As a member of the Research & Development (R&D) team, you will be responsible for working closely with Ops/Tech partners to:

  • Solicit concrete R&D requirements to enhance CSA or Whole-of-Government (WOG) stakeholder cyber security operational capability;
  • Co-steer R&D project directions for CSA or cybersecurity stakeholder agencies across WOG;
  • Transition R&D outcomes, to deliver impactful capabilities for CSA or stakeholder agencies across WOG; and
  • Bring in relevant cyber security technology and research initiatives to stakeholder agencies across WOG

To achieve the above outcomes, you will have the opportunity to be attached to the National Research Foundation (NRF), to support the running of National Cybersecurity R&D Directorate (NCRD) in championing and reporting the programme’s performance to stakeholders.

 

Educational Qualifications

  • At least a Degree (Engineering/Computer Science). Specialisation in Cybersecurity/ICT is preferred.
  • Professional certification e.g. CISSP or CIT(PM) would be an advantage.

 

Relevant Experience

  • At least 3 to 10 years of experience in project management of Engineering/R&D projects, preferably in the field of Cybersecurity/ICT.
  • Experience forging Ops-Tech collaborations would be an advantage.

 

Personal Characteristics & Behaviours

  • Keen interest in disruptive technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum computing/crypto) for solving cyber problems, would be an advantage.
  • Independent worker, yet able to function as a good team player.
  • Excellent networking skills and organisational abilities, to foster interest and forge collaboration across diverse spectrum of Ops/Tech partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
