As a statutory board in the Ministry of Communications and Information, IMDA promotes and regulates the infocomm and media sectors.

Responsibilities

1)      Strategy & Programme Development

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies, programmes and initiatives to grow the ICT industry
  • Assist in the study of ICT landscape to map out capabilities of Singapore based ICT companies, identify technology and capability gaps as inputs for the development of strategies, programmes and initiatives

 

2)      Industry Capability Development

  • Assist and implement curation process to short-list ICT companies for demand and growth opportunities (e.g. for SME Go Digital sectors, CDG TI)
  • Assist in the development and implementation of engagement and outreach plan for ICT companies (e.g. industry briefing sessions, networking sessions)
  • Identify key partners to collaborate on go to market opportunities for ICT companies

3)      Account Management

  • Account manage key ICT companies to chart growth and provide linkages to various initiatives and industry players for partnerships, projects and growth opportunities 
  • Account manage key industry partners for joint collaboration to develop ICT industry capabilities and enable go to market opportunities

4)      Project Management

  • Develop project proposals for ICT industry capability development
  • Manage project implementation including ensuring the completion of deliverables, progress reports, timely claims disbursement and project closure.
  • Provide support for project teams (advisory, link with partners, access to tools, users and funding for POC/Prototype/Product innovation & capability development)

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Experience in ICT industry is a plus
  • Minimum of 6 - 8 years relevant working experience
  • Good business development, customer relationship and account management skills
  • Possess strategic thinking skills and analytical abilities
  • Good stakeholders and project management skills
  • Self-motivator with an innovative driven mindset

 

Position will commensurate with experience.
